Hand-formed with a rounded, full body, a bulbed neck, and a small side spout, the jug is finished in a chalky, weathered terracotta with deep rust-brown mottling breaking through a pale limewashed surface.
It stands beautifully on its own as a sculptural object - no flowers required, though a few dried stems through the neck work just as well. Sit it on a mantel, a stack of books, or an empty corner of the floor where it can hold its own scale. Simple styling is what suits it best.
